The company has completed its annual review of its carbon footprint. As a consulting firm the vast majority of its carbon emissions relate to travel. For the year April 2013 to March 2014, the company used the equivalent of 0.4 tonnes of CO2. This is similar to 2012/13 where the firm used 0.39 tonnes.

The significant reduction seen over the past four years relates to the use of tele and video conferencing instead of flights for most meetings. Travel is generally driven by Client requirements whilst working on projects.

These results are encouraging which together with the policy of refurbishing and upgrading components within our computer networks help ASCM achieves exemplary environmental performance.
